It's too early for me to be expressing my love of the OC Mircomatic, but I did just buy one the other day. Hopefully it won't be a mistake. I'm going to need to study "Mr.Guys" blade loading instructions carefully before giving it it's maiden spin.

For me, when using the OCMM I can feel two points of contact on the skin, where the teeth touch, and where the blade touches. The difference is most noticeable on the more sensitive areas, like around the lip areas. Any one else get that sensation? As far as the blade, take a careful look at the edge when the cap is closed down, as long as the edge is perfectly wedged in the corner of the clip and the bed, you're good. Some razors will be more susceptible to misalignment than others, I've noticed.

Once again I put the OCMM to the test and it came through great. I did not shave the whole weekend. It was fairly busy, and I wanted to see how the Micro would do with a 3 day old Pella and 3 days of beard. It did wonderful. There is nothing like it for a heavy beard growth. No weepers or any irritation. I paired it with Williams (of course)did a good prep ( shaved after bath) and knocked one out of the park. Now Possum don't you wish you could use a piece of equipment like this? . I tell people all the time to try one of these. Takes some respect for the blade when using... but the payoff is an awesome shave. Fuzzy

A bullet tip micromatic was my first Gem razor, and what got me hooked on them. Since then I've gotten 4 more Gems, and each one is better than the last. My favorite is the open comb because you can really feel the blade.

AHHH what a way to get rid of a beard. This thing just mowed it down. I found out that the OC is far from Clog Pruf.. it took a good bit of rinsing.. but then again I had been growing this for like a month or so. Even though the top is thinning out the beard still grows thick and coarse. Paired it with a new PAL Super for this job. Could not have asked for more.
It is worth keeping one of these things around just in case you need to clear a jungle.

Someone besides Fuzzy has to. For me, I get better shaves with my Bic Sensitive disposables. I think you guys just bring up the Microjunkomatic to get me upset. Well, I'll tell ya the truth, IT'S WORKING!

The MM works great for me. Used a 1912 Damaskeene this morning and have a Clog Pruf ready for tomorrow using the same Blue Star blade.

All I can say is that if you plan on trying a MM, especially an OC, be sure to view Mr Guy's video. It shows how to hold the razor and proper razor angle to the face. There are many people that the MM will not work for, no matter what. However, I think some that try and give up before finishing the first shave due to numerous cuts may not have been using the razor correctly. You owe it to yourself to try one because if it works for you, you will love it.

Do not be afraid of the things. They give great shaves. Fuzzy
