Tuesday evening shave,
Gem 1912 Dameskeene Open Comb Gem Blue Star D-2 Generic Boar Brush Burma Shave soap WH British Sterling AS
Wow what a great shave. The OC 1912 is an awesome razor... almost on par with the lather catchers. Love the British Sterling also. Will use the cologne before going to work tonight for my late half shift.
I hope everyone else has a great shave like this for there next one,
Fuzzy

Razor: Gem G-Bar Blade: Ted Pella Brush: Shavemac 2007 LE Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime Soap: Arko Shave Stick A/S: Pre de Provence ASB
The stars were not aligned for me today. :hmm: Although I got a close shave, I had some irritation; most likely the result of my evolving SE technique. It will be back to DE razors tomorrow! Fortunately the PdP Balm helped put out the fire.

Thursday Night:
Schick Injector razor, Type L Schick Super Chromium blade (NOS US production)
Semogue 1305 brush (boar) Cella soft shaving soap
Thayer's Peach Witch Hazel (Astringent: 10% alcohol, no -parabens, no burn)
This blade really should have been replaced before this shave. I don't think it had that many shaves on it, but it had sat for months since the last time I used it. I'm of the impression that, even with stainless, once you have used a blade, you need to finish it before too long.

- Prep: Rite Aid Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
- Brush: The Ever Roddy Badger
- Cream: C&E Nomad
- Razor: '02 Kampfe Bros Star Lather Catcher Style with short one piece handle
- Blade: Ted Pella PTFE coated GEM SE (shave 2)
- A/S: Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel Toner & SCS Avocado Oil ASM
- EDT: Nine Flags Patcham from Hong Kong EDT
- Result: A DFS, near BBS and no oil pass. I had to realign the razor head so the blade would stay behind the blade stop. Works fine now and the blade stays put. Of course this is a very aggressive razor so I did not do a touch up oil pass.
