Right now, my favorite (and only SE) is my 1912 w/ ornate travel handle. I sold my LC (wish I hadn't) and also got rid of my MMs (Clog Pruf and OC). The only other SE I have is the Valet Auto Strop I'm trying to get rid of - I haven't tried it, and don't plan to, to be honest. Just saw a Gem Jr. LC with the small (wood?) black handle on Craigslist for $10 (cased, w/ a few blades and stropping handle).... lady already sold it though.... Hey Truck, That GEM Jr LC is a great shaver. Although the handle is really short it is fat enough to still provide a great grip. It is my second favorite SE razor behind my '11 Elite GEM Jr. I will keep an eye out for one for ya.

Although I enjoy many of the Gems, I have to say that the 1908 Lather Catcher is my favorite. As much for the appearance as the shave. I think that the cut out head is just too cool for words!

The GEM folks called it 'Ivorite' - according the catologue Dave posted in the Gallery - theoriginalsafety.com/gallery_4.html.

In my country SE razors are not popular. I decide to choose for first GEM - Micromatic o.c. , because this razor isn`t expensive and very popular. I like it ! I`m have now all three kinds - Open COmb, Clog Pruf and Bullet

I love my beat up micromatic oc. and would probably still be using it daily if not for the amazing prowess of the Gem LC

I love my clog proof, been getting awesome shaves for the past week on it. Makes me feel bad because I just bought a 40's SS I wanted to try out and now It's just sitting there unused.
