Since I've seen it, it was love at first site! That beautiful ivorite curves I don't have to mention that they are rather rare to come by... So I was thinking of getting cooncatbob make me a "replica". If I could have the dimensions, I'd really appreciate it. Length, the width on the widest and the narrowest part.

If you can wait a day or two I will take my '11 Elite GEM Jr to a buddy who runs a machine shop and have him provide precise measurements for ya.

It is a great handle and I would hate for you not to have something that is not just right, especially if it is a copy of something made by GEM.

Napoleon,
Got the measurements and a drawing for you. If you will send me a pm with your email I will send you a pdf file of the drawing and measurements. By the way, the guy who did the drawing and the measurements is interested in making the handle for you. I will give you more info in the email.
This guy can make the handle out of whatever material you want, metal, or "plastic" meaning something like the celludoid that the handle is actually made from. In fact if he does the work I will let him use my handle as a pattern so you get one that is good duplicate of the original.
I'll watch for the pm from you.

Cooncatbob can make a handle. He already made some for other members. At an affordable price. I only have one problem. I have that gem junior bar, with a short black handle. He needs to know the thread size. I really don't know how to measure it Do you guys know what thread size it is? He says it can be: #6-32 .138 #8-32 .164 #10-32 .189 Help

Ivan,
Can CooncatBob tell you how to measure it? If so you are set. If not let me know. I may be able to try some of my other less frequently used GEMs to see what handle fits and then maybe able to help you solve your problem.

He said: If by "helping me out" you mean sending him the handle, don't bother. If no one knows what the dimensions are, I'll just send him my handle that I don't use as a reference for the thread size.
