The grocery store chain Krogers is apparently discontinuing Williams and have it on clearance. I hit one a few days ago and emptied them out at $.69 a box and today found some at $.65, also cleaned that one out. A third one also has it at $.65 and had around 12-15 boxes, I'm going to give it a few days to see if they drop it anymore. But if they don't I'll still grab what they have.
Good chance to stock up if you're a fan of Williams like I am.

I gotta blame you guys for this!! (Well, not to worry, I take full responsibility!) Well, here it is. My secret secret. I use Williams for hand soap. There you have it! The first time I pulled out a puck and using an SE blade trimmed the ridges off. Then I put it on the sink and have yet to look back! Almost seven months now I might add!! Makes great hand soap and it always gets me in a good mood.

I have no public comment on using Williams as a hand soap. I did check the local Albertsons and they had VDH. So struck out. Dang it.

I'm not sure where you live, but Krogers owns the names of several other grocery store chains around the country. Around here they own the Jay C chain, I stopped at one today and got a couple more. You might check their website to see of they have anything around you. www.kroger.com

In Southern California Krogers is Ralphs. They were selling the pucks for $0.89. Not as cheap as you've seen... but I picked up 3!

I can usually get Williams for $1.00 to $1.25 a puck.

I've never seen it under $1.09 around here, but the only place I've purchased it was Krogers.

The Kroger-type store in a nearby town still has one puck on the shelf. They can't even give that one away!
I grabbed a couple of pucks on sale, but the stinging and the burning became too much for me to ignore.

Never heard of Williams burning anyone. Sorry to hear that.
