The Rise gel has less ingredients which is to be expected from a $1 product. The CB wash has mainly natural ingredients that focus on skincare along with having some potent stubble softeners & lubricants.
No wonder this wash is so slick & left my face feeling terrific. It definitely doesn't lather much so I may try using it as a superlather by combining with either my Bigelow or Real Shaving Co creams. I may try this later today & will definitely report back.

I picked up a tube of the Rise gel tonight. I really do like the scent. I will be shaving with it in the morning & then I'll have more than just an ingredient list to use for comparisons.

Had a nice DFS shave this morning with the Rise shave gel. I will definitely admit that after 1 shave it seems to work better than the CB face & Bodywash. Plus, I really dig the smell! I'll be using it until my TSD order arrives & even after that I'll try it some more with an added menthol blast.

Brian, what kind of razor and blade were you using? Alan Clog Pruf w/ a Walgreen's Gem. This morning I also used the Rise Gel for my first ever injector shave. Shick I1 injector with Ted Pella PTFE blade. I definitely need some more practice with the Schick but the shave was very close and extremely comfortable.
