Okay, this is an odd place to post a review, but here goes... Agreed. I shaved with the 1910 LC this morning I used a brand new TP blade and went with my go to superlather I use when trying new razors a super lather with Tabac+ C.O.Bigelow. The first thing I noticed was how light the LC was felt like I wasn't holding anything at all. It was the first time in a long time that I felt the urge to push down while shaving (I didn't of course ) so light was this razor. I gotta tell you though this thing definetly lives up to the hype. From the very first stroke it squeegeed off the whiskers and I didn't even feel it. Also they where spot on with the name lather catcher I could do one full pass without rinsing it out. Only ever been able to do that with a str8t till now. The blade sits right on the end of the comb so its easy to get into tight areas like under the nose or around the jawline. The biggest surprise came when I did my routine blade buffing on my cheeks. Normally I dip my fingers into the bowl of lather apply a small amount then go about my buffing after the third pass. However the LC is the absolute best razor for blade buffing I have ever seen! Its unique design allows the built up lather to not only be scooped up but by doing a backwards stroke will also bring the used lather back out and reapply it on the face ;D This means that applying a little lather before buffing isn't necessary and can be done at anytime during the shave effortlessly. I may just do an entire pass doing nothing but buffing that's how well it worked. very happy with this razor if had been the first one I tried when I started wetshaving I may have never tried DE's or str8ts and it looks just as cool , a wonderful welcome the new month

Great news whoosh. I am curious to hear more about your use of the lather built up on the catcher to do a touch up pass.
I for one do not do more than one side of my face without rinsing the razor. So two sides plus the middle around the mouth and chin and down the neck.
Love the Lather Catchers best of all. If I really wanted to do so, I would just retire my '12 GEM, GEM Jr and ER razors and use only my Lather Catcher SE razors.
