Please see the pics below for a good selection of vintage shaving creams (most are "brushless") that I found at a local antique mall today. I'd like to hear any recommendations for which of these if any are worth payig a bit of a premium for. Also, will they still be good to use??? I think they were asking anywhere from $10-15 per tube. I really like menthol but the only one I saw that said anything about menthol was a Mennan cream.

Wow, that pic brings back memories! Haven't seen some of that stuff in years. I don't know if it would still be good. I've used old soaps that lost their scent but still lathered well. Don't know if it's the same with creams. I don't think I'd want to spend 10 or 15 bucks to find out. The Burma Shave might be worth it if you wanted it for a collection and not to use.

Aye Caramba!!!!
Awesome pile to see all in one spot. I would have a hard time with that stuff. Would want a little of this, a bit of that, some o dat! ;D
Those NOS blades in packages too, those would do very nicely!
Hard to price those items for me as I don't have too much experience in buying or selling them. I would definately pick through and come up with a Burma Shave in box without any tube dents, a Lifebuoy and Molle. Yowser - nice. Those blades too, I would have to argue it out with the SWMBO.
Good luck with your decision process.

I would think that the creams would probably be ok to use. Not completely sure. But those are some out there prices. I don't know maybe that is what that stuff is bringing. I am with Rocket Dood though. I would have to have some of it. Even at those prices. I see a razor I would pickup.
Good luck on that. ;D I know I would spend way too much money.

I see a razor I would pickup. Fuzzy Which razor? The Autostrop? I'm not sure what the other one is in the picture. They also had an Ender's Razor and I think a Gem Featherweight. Most of the collection was vintage DE blades and creams.

Yes the Auto Strop the other looks like a Star. I would get it also. There are a few different types that look a like but probably a star.

In the last pic there is some sort of gadget next to the Kents Blades. Does anyone know what it is?
