Gem MM Clog Pruf CVS Blade (3) Made-Rite 500 PB Brush C.O. Bigelow Cream Barbasol Brisk
I had a nice comfortable shave but not as close as the previous two days; the blade was noticeably duller. I'll be using a new CVS blade tomorrow morning as a result. ______________ Jeff

Monday, August 1, 2011Prep: Hot shower, hand strop blade Lather: C.O. Bigelow, glycerin Brush: Frank Shaving Fine Badger Razor: Gem OCMM Blade: Walgreen's Gem (2), 2 passes Post: WH + alum spray, Aqua-Velva Ice Blue, hand strop blade [/FONT] Tuesday, August 2, 2011This makes 3 shaves in a row with the OCMM and my neck is singing its praises. This is the best my neck has ever looked following a single shave, let alone 3 in a row. 2 passes with extremely minimal touch up (if any) has been the norm with the razor. Only had some weepers on my first go with it, since then it's been smooth driving. I can definitely understand how this razor might not be a daily for most people, but it is doing wonders for me. Lazy this week no shave on Monday or Today! So here goes Tuesday's shave. - Prep: Noxzema Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
- Brush: C&E BBB
- Soap: Tabac
- Razor: '48 Eversharp-Schick G1 Injector
- Blade: Ted Pella PTFE coated Injector (shave 2)
- Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
- A/S: Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner & Nivea Extra Sensitive ASB
- EDT: Tabac EDT
- Result: What can I say? Great tools and pretty good technique leads to BBS. The Tabac is my favorite scent and I just love how easy it is to get a BBS shave with the injector.

Sunday, August 7, 2011- Prep: Hot shower, hand strop blade
- Lather: C.O. Bigelow, glycerin
- Brush: Frank Shaving Fine Badger
- Razor: Gem Featherweight
- Blade: Walgreen's Gem (7), 3 passes
- Post: WH + alum splash, Aqua-Velva Ice Blue, hand strop blade
- a completely cold water shave
What a wonderful thing to start shaving with the goal of a CCS & end up with a DFS! everything about today's shave was designed to be as comfortable as possible as I'm still healing from some bad razor burn in a couple spots. I wasn't expecting this close of a shave with the Featherweight so I'm quite impressed. No irritation, not even on the "burn spots"! Not a single weeper either. Just what I needed this Sunday morning before church.
