Here's what I used today.
Gem 1912 CVS Blade Omega 49 Boar Brush Proraso Shave Cream Humphreys Lilac WH British Sterling AS
I had one CVS blade left. Have been using Gems Stainless (Walgreens) mostly, seem to like them better. Ran out of Pellas months and months ago. After using the CVS today I still think the Gem stainless is smoother. Probably my imagination. Pretty good shave, but had a lot of tugging.

Good morning! I have to confess that I was neglecting my Gem for a while as I was tinkering with various DEs in order to satisfy my ever-curious and investigative mind. Last night, I did temporarily come to my senses and decided that today was an SE day yet again. And so will the next few days... Sooooo, today's set-up looked like this: - Custom made Pre-Shave Oil from Bud Organics, a local shop - Calani 'Purissima' shave soap - Jack Black Pure Performance synthetic shave brush - GEM 1912 - Ted Pella stainless steel PFTE coated blade (Day I) - Dr. Alkaitis Organic Soothing Gel as after shave treatment Just nice!

Razor: Rolls Razor 2 Brush: 7609 Cream: Truefitt&Hill Trafalgar AS: AII Osage
Squeeze 3x. 3 pass. Thin 2nd.
Shave #96 with Rolls. Smooth shave. Brush didn't ooze any useless water. Lathered effortlessly. Trafalgar's intoxicating; not overpowering very nice subdued scent.
Have an awesome week gents.
