Does it have a bar that does down over the front of blade? Early 1900's would be my thoughts. The blade stropping attachment seems to be missing. Even with the short handle it should shave good.

no bar over the front to hold blade, just the top folding tab and a clip on each side on the front to hold the sides of blades down. No idea if it should have blade stropper or not. Pic does not show it but inside box is an old wedge blade, but it will also take a regular SE blade, ive tried on in there for fit, but not shaved with it yet. Any info would be great

Maybe someone else will come through with a better ideal. I have a 1911 Gem that has the same set up on holding the blade in. It works great and shaves like a champ. My favorite razor I think. Most people think that the LC style is the best shaver around. I agree with that. Love the two Gem's that I have. (1910 and 1911) Fuzzy

I don't have the Waits installed or loaded onto my Linux machine so I can't look it up right now. You have a copy and maybe you can look and come up with a more exact date. The razor is missing the bottom of the handle as well as the stropping attachment and the blades. Here is link to my Shave Den with pix of my 1907 GEM Jr of similar style. Will can see what is missing. Despite the missing handle piece the razor should shave pretty well. After all the 07 GEM Jr Bar razor with the short wooden handle is about the same size. Only thing here is the metal handle I think would be a good deal lighter in weight than the wooden handle. Let us know how it shaves Will, please. One tip for Will if you find an SE you like, try to come on over here and show us some pix or a link to an eBay auction and we will give you our opinion on the razor and maybe even the going price.
