- Prep: Noxzema Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
- Brush: Ever Roddy 300 refurb with TGN Silvertip Badger
- Cream: SCS Oakmoss & Lavendula
- Razor: '07 Elite GEM Jr Lathercatcher
- Blade: Pal Carbon Steel SE (shave 3)
- Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
- A/S: Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel Toner & AOS Lavender ASB
- EDT: SCS Oakmoss & Lavendula EDT
- Result: BBS shave today. The Pal did not cut as well so really needed the buffing pass. Have been hand stropping the blade so I am wondering if I will get as many shaves from it as a Pella SE. Wife loves the SCS Oakmoss & Lavendula scent. And she told me so today.

Razor: Rolls Razor 2 Soap: Kell's Amber Aloe Brush: Vie-Long 16728 Shake 3x. 52sec. 1min22. 2 pass. Sans moisturiser Perhaps grasping knot while loading would load the tufts better. Recently I've been having lathering problems I know the room is to blame for one and blasted hard water. Reckon it's becoming more and more apparent now with Badgers than I did when I used Boar.

Razor: Rolls Razor Soap: NanaJune's Bayrum Brush: Vie-Long 16728 Shake 3x. 30 sec. 1min12. 4 pass. Thick Amazing what can be achieved if you just change factor in prep procedure. Having seen the useless meringue lather I washed of the knot and reloaded. For second time around I grabbed the knot loaded 30 seconds as usual and picked up more soap, shaken gently and much thicker lather resulted. This is one failing of Badger especially those of fine silky soft tips and smooth strands would benefit from such method. This brush however is not silk-like at all. There's good amount of scrub. Spine is not overly stiff stupid stiff like Simpsons. Good springrate. It's not lather hog either. Lather is distributed very well throughout the shave. It's well worth the investment. $649 Plisson yeah....I'll pass on that one and order an army of Boars or in this case Vie-Long instead.
