in excellent condition with just some masking tape residue on the handle which will come off with a cleaning. this is one of the machines that assisted in stropping wedge blades once upon a time. a must have collectible IMO or a cool item to mess around with for those of you who are into SE razors. for some reason i deleted pictures of it from my computer, but this is what it looks like. mine is sans box.

I agree Dave that this sharpener is a must have in a collection. They are not that easy to find anymore and yours seems to be well priced. Somebody should want this one!!

So as I understand it. This will only accept wedge style SEs and not modern SE blades?

that is correct. later on, ones were made for SE blades.
