Tried a Speick shave stick for the first time today. The scent is great and the later was outstanding. I used my Omega #48 boar and soaked it like I usually do with soaps. Wet my face and the end of the Speick and rubbed in a nice amount......and BOOM!!!!!
I think I could use less of it then I did and still get a good shave. It will not be replacing my Williams but it is a very nice product. If you get the chance to use it I would say go for it. You will prolly not be dissapointed.

I've tried it too. I got the same results as Fuzzy. I also like the price. Very reasonable. I will probably try the cream next.

This will definitely be the next soap I try, heard way too much good things about it. But won't be trying much any time soon, still got heaps of other soaps to finish.

That way you can get it now. I have a ton of different creams and soaps that I rotate through. That way you can always add more. Fuzzy

Fuzzy I was reading another thread on this site where comments were that if you haven't tried such a shave stick one should. Well, sounds like reasonable advice! I don't get how you use this thing though. ' rubbed in a little' wasssssss up? You soften the end of the soap stick and rub some soap on you face? It sticks on and then you lather it with the brush??? I am not always the fastest finch in the flock and could use a description better suited for communicating to grandpa after his second stroke. thnx! ! !

That will work like the Speick ya?? I can't buy any of that sort of thing locally, but somebody sent me a piece of the Arko once. I didn't really know what to do with it!! I don't care for the scent - seems more like a janitors product - but I am looking forward to trying this rubbing on the face thang! thnx wabbit!

I haven't tried the Speick stick yet but the cream is my favorite scent among all creams bar none. I really like sticks so it seems like the Speick stick would be a natural choice for me. Gotta get one! __________ Jeff

So how did it go? Fuzzy It didn't go at all!! I rcvd this 1/4 or so of an Arko stick about two years ago and had inserted it in a metal soap tube. Went to use it after this thread and yeck......it was sort of green and f*kd up from the metal leaching into it. The Arko experiment was a bust! I have been thinking about picking a tube up on eBay, but have not got there yet. Gotta run to work - see if I can get there on time today!
