I'm not sure where to place this, so if it's in the wrong place please move it. I bought a dropper bottle of shave secret at Wally world some time back, and never really noticed much of a difference in my shaves when applying it before a shave. With it getting colder out, my skin is drying out as usual so by the time I get to the third pass of my shave routine (atg) the razor feels like it wants to stick to my face. This happens no matter what shave cream or soap I use. Against the grain passes have been treating me pretty poorly lately. So tonight I'm shaving with my Gem Jr. because my face needs some extra TLC, and before I apply the lather for my third pass I decided to apply some shave secret under the lather. Well Lo and Behold it worked. Where the razor was getting a little sticky towards the end of the second pass, the third pass was smooth as silk. I hope this helps with the winter dryness too.

I use about 4-5 drops and it covers my face pretty well. I've had the bottle for a couple months now, and have used it a few times a week, and it's down maybe 1/4 to 1/3. A little bit goes a long way. I think it was about 2 dollars for the bottle.
I have to say, I was pretty disappointed when I applied it before I started shaving, but applying it before the third pass made a huge difference.

Well, I tried it again tonight just to verify my last results. Everything was the same. The results were the same as last time. I'm going to keep going on this, it really seems to help.
