- Prep: Noxzema Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
- Brush: Eveready 200 Boar
- Soap: TSD English Fern Type
- Razor: '73 Stick Schick Injector
- Blade: Ted Pella PTFE coated injector (shave 7)
- Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
- A/S: Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel Toner & AV ASB
- EDT: TSD Old Spice Type
- Result: A great BBS shave. Especially enjoyable due to the wonderful scent of the English Fern Type soap. This stuff is great to lather and provides a great shave. Finally, the Old Spice Type EDT got my wife's attention at the breakfast table. Not the first time she has said she likes it.

I've been doing things a little differently the past couple shave's with great results.
Prep: I just wet my face with warm, not hot water. Razor: Gem Jr. Brush and lather: VDH boar and Arko, face lather A/S: Witch hazel, Nivea sensitive, Ice Blue AV
I showered and did the A/S after my shave for the second time, to see if that would help with the irritation I've been getting lately. I also applied shave secret before lathering for my third pass. This seems to have really helped.
