Well, I finally got the chance to try out an Arko shave stick. I used it to face lather for the first time, and it turned out very well. I really liked the lather and scent. I wet the ends of the shave stick and rubbed it all over my whiskers then used a generic badger brush to work up a nice lather that lasted for three passes. It didn't take as long as I thought it would either. A very good first experience with face lathering over all. I think from now on I will be using a boar brush with it though.
