Found this nifty little 1924 style travel set to day and thought I'd share. Sorry about the super low quality pics, and the "before" condition, but I wanted to get a couple shots up before dinner. Top view of the case Opened up. Close up of the area where the Ever Ready logo would normally be. "Philadelphia Fire & Marine Insurance Company" The inscription on the coiled hose states "Incorporated 1923" This razor is the only one I've seen so far that has the extended "collar" under the head (razor on the right). Is this normal for the travel version? Travel handle on the right, regular ("home bound"? ) handle on the left.

I have to sat that the sets with "promotions", or what ever they were, are my favorites. I like to think that this one was a free gift for opening an insurance policy and some guy took out the cheapest plan he could just to get the razor, I know I would have done that ;D

I sold an Ever Ready travel set a while back that was in really nice shape a while back. It's always nice to come across something like this.

I do like travel sets of all kinds, especially when they have obviously been well used. I can't help but wonder if the guy really kept it for travel and had the "full size" version for home use Kind of like if Gillette would start marketing the M3 as the "Travel Fusion"

Yep, right to the dump. Being made of plastic, you can't even use them as fishing weights.
