Ever Ready 1912 GEM Blue Star carbon steel blade Palmolive shave stick soap Vintage Ever-Ready 300 brush Aqua Velva
Ooooohhhh, I am really enjoying the Palmolive! Got a vault of Blue Star's with a recent purchase and thought I'd use them up. It performed very well, now the battle to fight off the rust begins.

- Prep: Noxzema Skin Cream & Hot Towel
- Brush: Knotty Roddy Refurb with TGN Grade A Silvertip Badger
- Cream: TSD Egyptian Spice
- Razor: '48 Eversharp-Schick Injector
- Blade: Ted Pella PTFE coated injector (shave 7)
- Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
- A/S: Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel Toner & Nivea Extra Soothing AS Bam
- EDT: TSD Egyptian Spice
- Result: Great BBS shave even on shave 7 with the Pella. The TSD cream did a great job with the cushion and slickness of the shave.

- Prep: Noxzema Skin Cream & Hot Towel
- Brush: The Ever "Roddy" 300 Silvertip Badger
- Cream: SCS VeryV
- Razor: '07 Elite GEM Jr Lathter Catcher SE
- Blade: Ted Pella PTFE coated SE (shave 7)
- Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
- A/S: Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner & T&H ASM scent unknown
- EDT: SCS VeryV
- Result: The lather was kinda thin today. SCS creams have a tendency to melt when left out of my fridge for more than half a day so maybe I did not get enough cream in the bowl. Added a bit of cream and things went well thereafter. The blade was on its last shave for sure. Need to do some extra work on the Oil Pass to get a BBS shave. Love that Elite GEM Jr. Maybe my favorite SE. Used the last of my VeryV EDT. Need to get more of that and some others from St Sue.

I gotta say Ivan - you da man with a Rolls razor!!!! How do you keep your blades sharp enough so regular? Do you have them sharpened or do you sharpen them on a stone at all, or just in the frame?
Also - you are always intriguing me with your product choices!! Cool stuff always.

Schick type E injector CVS blade Tabac soap Ever-Ready 300 brush Brut A/S
I just got this near mint Schick type E injector and used it for the first time this morning, and, like the others I have, it performed flawlessly.
