I wish I could find some of the vintage US Palmolive at a reasonable price. Every time I see it for sale, it's commanding a ridiculous price. __________ Jeff

I just tried the Palmolive shave stick for the first time this morning. I was really impressed with the amount of lather produced by just a few swipes of the stick on my face. I bought this mainly for use while traveling but I can easily see the Palmolive stick making it into my regular rotation. __________ Jeff

Have you ever used it? Fuzzy No, but I used the brushless Palmolive back in '73 when I was 17 and traveling through Europe. Don't have much recollection of how it worked other than the fact that it tended to clog my razor. __________ Jeff

I've used both the Palmolive and Valobra shave sticks and both make excellent, tallow-riffic lather. I face lather everything with boars, but these are both top performers. I happen to prefer the scent of the Palmolive over Valobra, which is essentially just soap-scented. Palmolive is scented, but describing scents really isn't my forte. I'd call it a manly bar-soap scent, kinda earthy, spicy, and green. That's how it seems to my nose at least.
