Trying to help a friend ID this lather catcher he just got.... You guys have any guesses on the ID of this baby?

Head looks like a 1910 to me. but the case says Damaskeene. Mismatch maybe?

Beautiful looking razor though. And in great shape looks like. I have several of the Damaskeene but not in that ornate of a case. how did it shave with that handle?

Hi Fuzzy, The razor is mine and I got a very good shave from it. I still like my Ever Ready a bit more (the photo in my introduction post) but this baby did a fine job. As for the handle, it's damaged on the bottom and I wonder if it's the original; I have my doubts. I much prefer the short wooden handle on my ER to this handle. Since the handles are interchangeable I really should try this GEM head with the ER handle.
