Ordered one of Krissy's tallow soaps the other day. I might be one of the last to try her Soap. I will let you guys know how it goes when it comes in.

You will enjoy it. It is good stuff. I haven't been using my new puck with lanolin only because I decided I had to do some spring cleaning and knock out some of my older soaps first.

So, I am working on reducing soaps by forcing myself to use two pucks for everyone 1 I replace and to use a puck up before rotating to the next puck. So far my soaps are reducing, but RAD has returned.

I might also mention that I also rotate through bath soaps like I do shave soaps at times. heh Fuzzy

Well here we are....
My soap from Prairie Creations made it in yesterday. Just finished my first shave with it. and...... I LIKE IT. I got the Wild Wild West scent. All you have to do is think Leather shop to get a good ideal what it is like.
It was one of the easiest lathering soaps that I have used. Right from the start my little lather monster boar went to work pulling the soap off the top of the puck. Took very little effort to face later the soap. It is Tallow based and feels great on my face. The soap felt very slick and protecting using the open comb 1912 Damaskeene with a three day old Pella.
With the first use it gets two big ole buckets of carrots and prolly a pot of cabbiages too.
Shipping was fast, and the transaction was very easy.

The more I use this stuff the better it gets. I will be ordering more of this. I like it better then any of my soaps other then Williams.

I agree about the quality of this stuff, Fuzzy. I have already gone through one of Krissy's pucks of soap and am now working my way through a second. I usually don't care for artisan shave soaps or creams because I don't find the quality consistent. Prairie Creations is definitely the exception that proves the rule.

I've been eyeballing Krissy's site for some time. I think I'm going to have to try some of the Wild West. I guess it comes two ways; with or without Lanolin. Anyone have any input as to the difference?
Thanks, Alan

Thanks for the info Fuzzy. I'll think I'll stick to the tallow without lanolin. I may just order a couple of pucks next week. Now I have to decide what scents to get.
