Picked up this razor for a five spot today. I know something is "off" about it, but it was calling to me. The head is an Everready 1912, but I'm pretty sure that isn't the right handle for it. It feels like the handle is aluminum with a fine knurling on the last 1/2 inch or so. When it's screwed in, there's a about an eighth inch gap between the head and the handle. What's going on here? Any thoughts? Attachments:

Never have seen a handle like that on anything. Looks like something that was picked up on the street.... but I know you are going to have to see how it shaves.. so let us know Fuzzy

Yeah, I'm thinking that in a worse case scenario, I might just have to turn a custom handle for it, but I'm anxious to see how it performs. It'll probably be a few days before that happens, though.

Was thinking that handle could be from a Christy Razor or something like that.
