You can take Dave's dating your razor to the bank. He doesn't miss on dating the SE razors. Nice looking shaver.

In the one picture, it certainly appears to be a Star wedge blade in the razor, but since it is an Ever-Ready razor, it is obviously mis-matched and according to our SE guru, all ER's were designed for the thin, reinforced back blades similar to todays blades.

Mr Irving is correct, it uses GEM SE blades and shaves very well. I have noted the angle of the blade on the head is rather sharp. More so than the Star Kampfe with the K on the back or the palm tree looking emblem. My shaving motion is more of a traditional DE than of a SE. My hand is very close to my face as opposed to up and away.
