Monday 2/15
No Name German Boar Brush Gibbs SC Autostrop Valet, Model B (Canadian - VB1 Variation) Feather SE (4) EW's Wintergreen AS Balm Keiko Fleur de Peau EdT
Worst shave in a long time...this was the Feather SEs 4th shave and it had sat for 10 days since the last shave. Not a smart move... The good...the no name boar performs excellent and EW's wintergreen AS balm really soothes the burn. Oh well, there is always tomorrow.

- Prep: Rite Aid Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
- Brush: Ever Ready C40 Boar
- Soap: The "FAT"
- Razor: '02 Kampfe Bros Star Lather Cather with short handle
- Blade: Ted Pella PTFE coated GEM SE (shave 5)
- A/S: Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel & AOS Lavender ASB
- EDT: SCS Aspect EDT
- Result: Nice DFS. Being careful with this razor. Seems that the blade stop on the right side is not working quite right. Blade slides past it and the razor becomes super aggressive. Need to look into fixing the razor somehow.

Tuesday Night:
GEM G-Bar Single Edge razor Treet Super Single Edge blade (carbon steel)
Semogue 2000 brush (barber style, boar) Cella Crema Sapone da Barba
Thayer's Peach Witch Hazel (Astringent: 10% alcohol, no -parabens, no burn)
Unless I do more than just hand-stropping, 3 appears to be my limit with a carbon steel blade. Even so, it is still my favorite.

- Prep: Rite Aid Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
- Brush: The Dana Brush - ER 50N Boar
- Cream: SCS Oakmoss & Lavendula
- Razor: '50 Eversharp-Schick G1 Injector
- Blade: Ted Pella PTFE coated Injector (shave 2)
- Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
- A/S: Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel Toner & Haslinger Wellness Sandalwood After Shave Balm
- EDT: SCS Oakmoss & Lavendula EDT
- Result: BBS shave with just one little nick on the left neck. Been awhile since I used the SCS Oakmoss & Lavendula. Great scent that reminds me of the woods in spring a bit. Heaven only knows we need some spring here in WPa right now. The Pella blade working fine in the injector.

Razor: Gem G-Bar & Merkur Futur Blade: Pal Carbon Steel SE Blade & Super Iridium Brush: Simpson's Ehsan Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime Soap: Palmolive Shave Stick A/S: D.R. Harris Sandalwood
Have you heard the saying that curiosity killed the cat? Well I don't know about that but it nearly maimed the BullGoose. I started out my shave with a Gem G-Bar razor loaded up with a fresh Pal carbon steel blade...a new combination for me. This particular combination did not suite my face/beard/technique at all and I could tell immediately. Ouch! I switched to my trusty Futur and Super Iridium combination and enjoyed an excellent shave. The D.R. Harris Sandalwood aftershave is becoming a favorite.
