Hello Gentlemen,
I have been wetshaving for about 19 months now and enjoying it. I'm mainly a DE shaver, but regularly use an Injector razor. Those of you also on shavemyface.com may have seen me before.
I own a 1912 type Ever Ready, and have shaved with it twice. The first time was okay, the second time was quite a lot less than okay, and I've not shaved with it since. I keep meaning to dig it out again and have another crack at it.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to having a browse around and reading more regarding SE shaving.
Regards
Ian

Welcome New Guy!! I found I had one crappy shave with a 1912 and I recall changing out the blade and things went well. If you have a good blade you shouldn't have too many problems. There is of course getting used to a different angle somewhat, but it is pretty easy to judge how the angle is going. There are some threads around here now talking about blade types and that might be helpful. Stick with it - that is good razor as long as it isn't bent or otherwise compromised. Welcome New Guy!!
