Razor: Gem G-Bar Blade: Ted Pella (4th shave) Brush: Shavemac 2007 LE Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime Soap: Tabac A/S: Pashana Classic Aftershave
Today's shave was excellent...the best SE shave that I have received to date. I definitely prefer the Gem G-Bar to the Gem Junior; it just seems more solidly built and fits in my hand nicely. The Tabac soap produced its usual creamy lather and the Pashana aftershave was the perfect finish.

1/14 Hot shower [/li][li] Brush: Tweezerman [/li][li] Cream: Cyril R Salter Sandalwood SC [/li][li] Razor: 1910 Gem Jr. LC [/li][li] Blade: TP (shave #5) [/li][li] A/S: Thayer's Superhazel Witch Hazel Toner & TSD Subzero x2 menthol + lanolin milk splash [/li][li] Result: BBS [/li][/ul] Tried a new cream today, Sandalwood scents are hit and miss with me some smell like patchouli or cheap cologne this one however had a very sweet cinnamon smell to it The cream was harder than it appeared in its container almost like a putty so little trouble scooping it out but no big deal. Lathered wonderfully almost like TOBS but it takes more water to get it going than most creams do. Gave a nice thick lather but its slickness was a little lacking (will have to add more water and try again) decent though. The warm cinnamon scent became very light after lathering the cream so it was almost like an unscented lather : - / oh well it gave a good shave with a blade at the end of its lifespan so I'm happy.

I love salters sandalwood.. when you get tired of it send the rest of the tub to me. ;D
Baton Handle Treet Gem Blue Star D-1 lather monster Boar The Body Shop old formula SC WH Aqua Velva (ok the smells just like stuff)
The Gem Blue Star did a lot better in the Treet then that treet blade. I will try another to see if it was just the blade. I loved the shave from the razor though.

Ever Ready 1912 GEM Stainless Blade Vulfix VS/3 Kent Soap Clinique Post Shave Soother Trumper Spanish Leather Cologne
I fancied a change, so popped a blade in the ER 1912. Pretty good shave, given that I've not shaved with the ER for MONTHS.

Ian good to hear you got a good shave. welcome to the show Saturday before work shave Gem Damanskeen(from WWI bag set) Gem Blue Star (D-1) Lather Monster Boar Colgate Barbershop SS (Thanks Justin) WH British Sterling AS British Sterling Cologne What a great shave from the Gem and Colgate. First shave from both of them. The Colgate is great stuff very much like the newer pucks I have. If you have never shaved with a Damaskeene you should. They are excellent little razors. This was the first shave with the one from the WWI kit. Went very well. Fuzzy
