Monday- Soap: Tabac
- Brush: Semogue LE #56
- Razor: Valet / Feather SE (day 1)
- A/S: WH followed by C.O. Bigelow Elixir Blue
First time with a Valet and the Feather SE blade. I just don't get it... the one I modified to fit GEM blades is just plain vicious. But with the Feather blade, they are tame.

Tame as in a good shave or too mild? A bit mild. Not a bad shave; however, not the closest either. Guess I will have to keep trying it to see how long the blades last with stropping - although I don't know that stropping will do anything on these blades.

1/11 Hot shower [/li][li] Brush: Tweezerman [/li][li] Cream: TOBS Mr. Taylor [/li][li] Razor: 1910 Gem Jr. LC [/li][li] Blade: TP (shave #3) [/li][li] A/S: Thayer's Superhazel Witch Hazel Toner & TSD Subzero x2 menthol + lanolin milk splash [/li][li] Result: BBS, tried TOBS "Mr. Taylor" for the first time today. The lather was great as always with TOBS but I must admit I do not like the scent Mr. Taylor it reminds me of cheap cologne luckily the smell was light and dissappeared after I added my witch hazel and after shave splash. A good shave just not the most pleasant one. [/li][/ul]

Tuesday - Soap: Colgate Barber
- Brush: Semogue LE #56
- Razor: Rolls Razor
- A/S: WH followed by Royall Bay Rhum
Will return to the Valet tomorrow, I have been working on restoring this Rolls blade off and on for months and it is finally to the point of being a good shave. I ended up soaking the brush with the Colgate Barber cake this morning - the puck was so hard and dry and wasn't lathering the best. Boom.... great lather, great shave!

- Prep: Rite Aid Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
- Brush: Ever Ready 200 Boar
- Soap: Williams Mug Soap
- Razor: '50 Eversharp-Schick G1 Injector
- Blade: CVS Brand Injector (shave 1)
- Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
- A/S: Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner & SCS Savory Rose ASM
- EDT: Nine Flags Patcham from Hong Kong
- Result: Another bloodless BBS shave with the G1. The CVS blades seem to work well too. Did have major trouble getting the blade in the razor. Seemed to only want to go in half-way. Finally just took the injector out and shoved the blade in the rest of the way by hand. Did reinsert the injector to fine tune the blade placement. Wasted two blades trying to get the thing loaded. The Williams is not a good shave soap for me. Lousy lather. Too thin, but that can be adjusted I believe. What I don't like is the scent. Oh so much like unscented bath soap. So it is going into the cabinet and next time I need a new cake of bath soap out the Mug Soap comes.

Thursday- Soap: Godrej shaving round
- Brush: Semogue LE #56
- Razor: Rolls Razor
- A/S: WH followed by Iced Subzero
I am starting to think that this is as sharp as this particular Rolls blade is going to get.. close enough for DFS but not close enough for full neck BBS. Oh well... still a good shave. Ooh.. I forgot to strop it.. better go do that!

- Prep: Rite Aid Skin Cleansing Clean & Hot Towel
- Brush: Ever Roddy 300
- Cream: C&E Nomad
- Razor: 1910 GEM Jr Lather Catcher
- Blade: Ted Pella PTFE Coated GEM SE (shave 3)
- Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
- A/S: Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel Toner & T&H Unknown Scent ASB
- EDT: Nine Flags Aromatic Tabac from Brazil
- Result: Been awhile since I used on of the "true" SE razors and especially a lather catcher. What a joy it was to get back to using one. BBS shave, no blood, no irritation. Nomad made a great slick lather with plenty of cushion. Off the injectors now for a week or so. Back to SE and DE alternating daily.
