1912 OC Dameskeene Gem Blue Star D-2 Lather monster Boar Williams Shave Stick (home made) Wh Pinaud Citrus musk
Great shave. The Williams shave stick works well. Even with the boar brush. Boar does do more I reckon.

Forgot to post yesterday's shave.
- Prep: Rite Aid Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
- Brush: The Ever Roddy 300
- Cream: TSD Signature Scent
- Razor: '50 Eversharp-Schick G1 Injector
- Blade: Eversharp-Schick Injector Blade of same vintage (shave 4)
- Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
- A/S: Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner & Clubman Club Complete ASB
- EDT: TSD Signature Scent EDT
- Result: What can I say other than I just love this injector razor. Another marvelous BBS shave without any blood. Can't believe that the blade seems to almost as sharp as it was with shave 1. Hope to get about 3 more shaves from the blade.

Saturday:- Soap: Iced Subzero
- Brush: Semogue LE #56
- Razor: Rolls Razor
- A/S: WH followed by Royall Bay Rhum
Oddly enough, this blade was just a little dull yesterday. Worked the blade on the hone for quite a while and now the blade is worse. ugh..... Time to switch the blade to a different frame to see if it is the hone or myself that is at fault...

1912 Ever Ready Gem Blue Star D-4 Palmolive Classic Lather Cream Vulfix Pure Badger E45 Speick
My first submission to SOTD. Hand stropped the Blue Star and shave was quite comfortable although blade going off. Antartic temperatures in Scottish Borders so E45 for protection

1911 Gem Junior PAL Super (Last day) Lather Monster Boar TSD Wheat Patchouli WH Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum
A ok save. Not sure why it was not a great shave. Partly I blame the water here. We are having some issues with water department and my hot water is some what golden color. Maybe tried to stretch the PAL a day longer then needed. I can not remember how many shaves that blade had on it But it is not a bad shave.. just not the best I can do. Fuzzy

- Prep: Rite Aid Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
- Brush: C&E BBB
- Cream: SCS Tea Tree
- Razor: '50 Eversharp-Schick G1 Injector
- Blade: Eversharp-Schick Injector blade of the same vintage (shave 5)
- Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
- A/S: Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel Toner & AOS Lavender ASB
- EDT: SCS Blend 2-114 EDT
- Result: Another fabulous BBS shave with the injector equipment. But alas, it was harder this time as the blade began to tug a bit and it was not as sharp as the previous 4 shaves. Had to do a bit more blade buffing on the last pass especially around the chin. I think that 5 shaves from the vintage blades is great. Now onto the CVS injector blades to see how then work.

Razor: Gem G-Bar Blade: Ted Pella (3rd Shave) Brush: Omega Boar Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat A/S: Ogallala Bay Rum
I picked the G-Bar up off the B/S/T last week and today was the first time I used it. I really like the little knob on the handle...it is perfect for resting a finger during the shave. I found the G-Bar to be slightly milder than the Gem junior but received an excellent shave despite the fact that I had trouble making lather from the MWF today. Perhaps I used too much water. The Ogallala Bay Rum was an excellent finish, as always.

G-Bar Gem blue Star D-2 or 3 Lather Monster Boar Williams WH Brut
I hate to leave a blade hanging so I put the one out of my Gem 1912 OC into the G-bar to finish it off. Was a nice shave. These things work just fine,
