Actually I guess that the best way to ask this is what is the Pella Carbon Blade (121-1)? I assume that there is an equivalent? By the title you can probably guess I am hoping they are Treets.
Separate question that I also wouldn't mind getting answered, are the Treets sharpest? After doing some reading on carbon blades it seemed like the consensus was is while there are some similar blades, the Treets are top dog.

I am not sure about the pella carbon blades. I have never used them. I prefer theTreets. They seem to shave better to me.

Well alrighty, maybe I should just bite the bullet on those Treets now rather than later. I know its going to happen. Anyway, I think the reason I am fond of the Pellas are because it forces you to "mini-stockpile". With a minimum of either 100 or 200 blades, you would be set for a while. Especially for a blade that has about half of the life of some other blades.

That is the most extreme measure I have seen. I like a dip in alcohol then a pat dry. I dry the razor return the blade to it and store as usual. Never thought of leaving in oil like that.

I have a little plastic box with a snap-on lid, maybe 1 inch by 1.5 inches. I got a 6-pack of them at a Dollar store. I keep a pool of oil deep enough to cover the blade and just pop it in after each use. It may be "extreme" but it works for me. Previously my Carbon blades would be a rusty mess after a single shave...
