I know of and and going to be making heavy use of an old tooth brush and some scrubbing bubbles or something like that. I even have some polish that wouldn't hurt, but what I haven't thought of and maybe people don't use it for a good reason, but, figuring it is all metal, would good old Comet do a good job of cleaning a razor "fresh" from the bay?

Comet is abrasive. You will scratch it all up. Would say not a good ideal. If really crusted warm water soak with Dawn works good to loosen things up too.

Hot water tooth brush dawn dish soap will clean most anything. You can boil a all metal razor too. But that one looks very good already.
