Which SEs would you rank as the most and least aggressive? Is the most aggressive DE anything like the most aggressive SE?

Of the SEs I've tried, I'd have to go with the Featherweight as the least aggressive and the OCMM as the most aggressive. __________ Jeff

To me and out of my SE collection (OCMM, Clog Pruf, Featherweight, ER 1924, & various 1912s) here is my ranking from least aggressive to most aggressive:
1. 1912s 2. Featherweight 3. Clog Pruf 4. ER 1924 5. OCMM
The ER 1924 and OCMM are pretty close to me but I can get a closer shave with the OCMM because the longer handle is more comfortable for me.

Great list. Where does the G Bar sit on it? Gbar feather weight and push button are about the same head. At least to me they shave the same. Fuzzy

Fuzzy I've not shaved with the G-Bar since I don't have one but as Fuzzy said the head is the same as the Featherweight. I would think that the G-Bar could be slightly more aggressive than the featherweight due to, well, weight. The G-Bar will weigh more so it may give the impression to some that it's more aggressive.

To me the weight is not a factor in the aggressive department. The blade exposure is what causes that. Razors that have a larger blade gap are generally more aggressive. I have some very light razors, that are very aggressive and some heavy ones that are very mild. Fuzzy

After that YUP comment though I gotta add, I have never tried one of these GEM razors newer than the first 1931-32 Micromatic. Just ain't picked one up yet. Well, I have a featherweight but it is NOS in a perfect plastic case so I just haven't shaved with it. Probably won't. (I still agree with Fuzzy's comments about aggressiveness)
But, if I see any of these cruisin around the sales and such, I will definately pick em up. I still am curious. It is kind of cool though, as I have tried a schwack of different razors but I still have these to look forward to. For that reason I haven't been in a big rush to check em out. So, as I come across them (if they are cheap like me!) I will be able to get all excited and come home, polish up then
load, lock and lather!
;D Just thought has me googling collectible shows around the island!!
