We’ve got quite a forest fire going here in Arizona. Right now it’s the second worst we’ve ever had and by the end of the week it could become the worst. Luckily there have been no injuries and only about 10 buildings destroyed. Up to now it’s mostly been in forest areas but it’s heading for Springerville, Eager, and Greer, small communities in the mountains. Its zero % contained at the moment. Until the winds die down there’s only so much they can do. It’s nothing like the terrible tornadoes and flooding that has hit other areas of the country this past year, but it sure is eating up a lot of beautiful forests. I am way to the west of it and cannot see or smell it, however I had to go to Albuquerque New Mexico a couple days ago and the smoke there was thick. Guess we’ll just have to wait to see how this plays out.

I saw that Alan. Glad it is not messing with you around there. Hate the thought of all the forest being burned but that is a natural process. It will come back better then ever.
