Anybody get affected by that storm that swung through the south and headed up the east coast? I thought I heard it blew through Fuzzy's area. It's starting to pound New York now. My missus there on business. She had planned to fly home today, but has now rescheduled her flight to tomorrow morning.

Just made for a cold wet day this far South Alan. They got sleet and snow and ice in the Mississippi Delta where my brother is. Still cold here.

I didn't check the weather maps but I'll bet Bryce got nailed where he's at. We just got over the cold snap the storm gave to us. Supposed to be great weather here this weekend and next week. 70 to 74 degrees.

Not really bad here in WPa. About 6 inches total. Roads just fine now except in the mountain areas where there is a bit more snow and much more wind blown snow over the roads. But we are pretty good about getting things straightened away after any kind of snow storm. Just that some larger storms take a bit longer to recover from.

Yes, years gone by I used to pass through PA a lot in the winter. Even then they seemed to be right on top of snow removal, especially in the out-lying areas. Do they still use salt on the roads?

Yes, we still use road salt and sometimes some anti skid materials mixed in. Now the state is using some kind of spray deicer. Seems to work very well.

Wow, that storm that just beat up a lot of the country even affected us here in Arizona. It's been 20 to 25 degrees below normal the last few days. There is a golf event going on that has had delayed starts everyday due to frost. The temp has gone down to 25 degrees 3 days in a row where I live. This time of year we usually average around 70-71 degrees. The highest it's gotten is 51, that's cold for me.

Yea got a little cold here. Some ice not too bad. People go nuts down here when that kinda stuff happens. All good now though back to more normal.
