Being a fan of the cheaper things in the after shave line I always pick up a bottle of things that I see that are new to me. Such as the bottle of Mens Choice Artic Blue from Dollar tree. Has anyone else tried this stuff? It looks like another knock off of AV but that is not the case. It has a different scent that I can not describe. Maybe someone can help me out here. I like it though... will go in the rotation me thinks.

I was just at Dollar Tree today, grabbed some Palmolive Gold bath soap and $1 knock off of "Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue". I really haven't tried it out yet, but I think it's worth it to tell people I'm wearing a $1 cologne As far as Arctic Blue, it seems like it wants to be AV, but as you said not quite the same. I think the main difference is that there's no menthol. I like it, but I think it's missing something huge when there's no chill after application. Plus, the menthol likely adds scent, or changes scent... maybe? I could be wrong though. My nose's discernible scent profile consists of, "nice", "very nice", and "yuk!" BTW... Did your DT have the "Macho" AS? Man, I REALLY wanted to like something called "Macho", but I just couldn't do it. The GF was with me as well, the only reason she gave two thumbs down was because she only has two thumbs to give. I got enough grief from a $1 cologne, I think she would have found another ride home if I would have gone for "Macho". Still, I might go back to at least buy the bottle and label. I could always decant my witch hazel into it, and still feel very manly and Macho

It will not be an everyday thing but a nice light scent for hanging out at home. I am weird that way. I think that if the Blue had menthol in it that would make it an AV clone. I like it enough as it is to use it some. And hey it's only a dollar. Fuzzy

On another note I also picked up some shield soap. I like it as much as the dial or Palmolive gold.
