So a friend of mine wanted one of these sets when I saw them on Ebay. One order and three days later..great shipping by these folks..and it arrived. I looked at it and had to get one for the Hutch. I am not at all interested in the Cart razor that comes with the kit. I got it for the brush. This is a kit that was made my Omega in Italy. Seems they do not make it any more which is a shame as it is a nice boar brush. The best part however is the small shave stick that stores in the handle. I have not shaved with it yet, but might tonight. It is a very dense little boar knot. I think that once it breaks in it will make a super nice travel brush. Not sure if I can get a SE to fit in the case anyway but that is the next part of the adventure to try out. I figure that it is worth the $15 to have a brush like this and the case it is in very rugged and ideal for travel. Fuzzy Attachments:

Fuzzy,
Great deal there my friend! That's mighty nice brush! It reminds me of Omega 50014. It's very useful travel brush. Nice, dense and scrubby. May you have many great shaves with it.
I look forward to your feedback.
Specs on mine: *Ht: 94 mm Loft: 47 mm Base: 47 mm Dia: 22/27 mm Knot: 21 mm

I used it tonight and it was good for a boar that is not broke in. I will be using it some to see how it does.. It did shed some but not bad at all. I think it will be a nice travel brush.

Fuzzy,
Were you able to put an SE in place of the cartridge razor? Would it fit a Rolls you think?

Fuzzy, Were you able to put an SE in place of the cartridge razor? Would it fit a Rolls you think? To get any of the real razors to fit it will take some cutting of plastic inside the tube. Did not work on it tonight. I have an ideal though that I hope will fix it up. Fuzzy

The brush is breaking in great. No more shedding and the funk is gone. I do not know what the shave stick is but it worked well also. I am loving this brush, It has worked well with Williams and some of Krissy's soaps. I am going to try it out with a shave stick here soon.

Glad it's working out there Fuzzy! How many travel brushes you have thus far? This is the second. I have a vintage ER travel brush that came with a 1912 travel set. It is much smaller then this one though. Fuzzy

That's exactly one of my favourite things about Boar that Badger cannnot replicate. Though I still enjoy Badgers don't get me wrong.

Fuzzy,
how's this holding up? BTW do you face or bowl lather? If the former do you rotary motions or to and fro paint strokes? I only do the latter if touching up or finishing but otherwise face lather in general. Rarely do I bowl lather and only leave that to Barber brushes as well as longer lofted ones.

It is holding up well. I face lather with soap and usually with circular motions. I bowl lather with creams and usually apply to my face with circular motions. Some times paint brush to smooth things out. Fuzzy
