After getting the Contour from Possum and a really nice silver Clog Pruf this week I decided to take a group shot of what I've acquired over the last several months.

Now all you need to do is junk the MM and get yourself some real razors! Lather catchers. Nice collection my friend.

I have owned, and sold, two very nice cased LC's. I did not enjoy shaving with them at all. There's something about that big, bulky head that really bothered me. I MUCH prefer using an MM, especially the Clog Pruf model over the LC's.
If I ever come across one at a reasonable price I'll get it just to pass it on to someone else, but I'll never bother to use one myself again.
Apparently my mileage did vary!

Thanks! I just sent a PM to buy a 1914 Ever Ready that a member at B&B has listed for sale. I believe these are referred to as Little Lather Catchers, correct?
Baby steps...

One of my favorites - and barely even dinosaur status. You are going to enjoy that razor. Just watch the loading. I got bit by one of those once by not having the blade set right. Great shaver though.

Just as I have great disdain for the MM, you apparently have not had good experiences with the LC razors. Yes our mileages do vary, big time and in different directions. Enjoy your fine SE collection.

Hey Will! Welcome. My colllection has grown considerably since that picture. I was looking for a 1914 and ended up owning 5, two of which I have since sold. Still have three. Have I ever mentioned I really like the 1914?
