Those are the exact same blades I got from the Ted Pella website. My box says 62-0165 instead of 62-165 but they may have just left the 0 off in the ebay add. They work great, I can't tell any difference between them and the GEM/Personna blades from Walgreens.

After a little more inquiry, the box is stamped # 62-165. Supposedly this is the same marking that is on a Ted Pella box. However, having never actually had a Ted Pella box in hand, I can't confirm. Anybody able to help out on this one?

We were typing at the same time. See above.

eBay seller updated the auction (while I was typing as well).. the original model number that they had posted wasn't the Pella number. I suppose that is what caused all the confusion in the first place.

The box looks like the one from Pella. But you can spend the same amount of money and get twice the number of blades by ordering directly from Ted Pella. I got mine in a buy with D.Irving79 a year or so ago. Also you will be sure that you are getting the real thing this way.
If you are not ready to buy just now I suggest that you find someone who might be willing to split the 200 blade order if that amount is more than what you want.

However, last I knew, Pella had pricey shipping (still cheaper to go the Pella route and pay their shipping and split the cost of the blades) and required you to be home to get the shipment which is something that neither myself or friend are home during normal delivery hours. Neither of us have time to deal with going to UPS or Fed Ex hub to pick up the blades from them either. Oh well, this was an inquiry for an online friend and not myself (I think I have about 50 blades left from my last group buy) but I thank everyone on his behalf.

Check out the Shave Den Store. Joanna has some there. Sells them in packs of 5. The cost will be more but your friend can limit the number of blades he has to buy thus his monetary output.
Just another suggestion.

Actually, our MsBlackWolf was selling them as well (I ordered some through her). So there are other alternatives as well.
