Hello all,
Just got my hands on a Gem G Bar and will take it for a spin later today. I've been wet shaving with DEs and injectors for a number of years and thought I would give a SE a try.
What is the main thing that I should keep in mind when using a SE as opposed to a DE or injector?
Many thanks in advance

Keep in mind that the angle in a SE is usually different from that of a DE. Hope enjoy the ole G Bar. Fuzzy

Welcome! Since you've been using injectors I'd say you're already an accomplished SE user, after all it is a single edge blade. The tecjnique seems to me to be pretty much the same, just lay the head flat against the face and then tilt it slightly until you reach the right angle.
The G-Bar is a great razor. I rest the end of the handle on my ring finger and the little plate at the bottom is a perfect fit for me.
