I stopped by a little country store on my way home from my parents a little while ago. I am on a never ending hunt for old shaving soaps and such that these places sometimes have laying around. Did not find any today but I did pick 4 different Brut deodorants for a grand total of......89 each. One is the round stick, one clear gel, and one spray can. all in the original Brut scent.. then there was a very large solid of the Brut Revolution.. Not too shabby me thinks for under a buck each. Maybe next time I can find some more of the Colgate pucks.

I'd like to stumble on some C&E Sweet Almond Oil shave cream. Like 50 or jars at even $5 apiece. It's okay to dream and fantasize isn't it?

When my C&E stuff runs out I will be done with Almond scented creams. But with 3 tubs and a tube sitting in reserve and using it only once a month or so, I will probably die before I use it up. If that happens Fuzzy you get what I have left. Changing my will today! ;D ;D

Ah, green stamps, another memory from my childhood. Got lots and lots of stuff with S&H Green Stamps. One of the things was the great taste of the glue on the back of the stamps. Loved that taste.

But we did get a lot of stuff with the Green Stamps. Then a bit later one of the stores started giving out "Plaid Stamps". We also got some stuff from them. Here is a link to a wikipedia entry on trading stamps. Very interesting article for some of the younger viewers out there.
