Hurrah - my second shave was more successful. I applied a little pressure and checked my angle. I only ended up doing a WTG and 2 XTG passes - reasonably close (closer than any other razor doing this, and acceptable for a normal day.) I'll try ATG on my next shave - should go well at this rate! BULLY!!!! Fuzzy

Alll right!!! Keep up the good work!! I appreciate what WCHNU says about the frame on this razor. Because of the head design it can feel kind of bulky. But, that being said, I find this style of Star to be absolutely irresistible for using. Talk about history!!! This was pretty much the first razor to be designed to be used with either wedge blades or with the 'modern' style of blade. I personally find shaving with this razor to be very enjoyable. That said though, I find it tricky to do a great job under my nose - but then again I have a schnauze the size of a small volvo! I say keep it up. Spend a few more shaves on it and you will find that it does a very satisfactory job. And, shaving with a razor approaching 110 years of age is damn cool!
