FS: Valet Autostrop Model C

Razor and blade are in good shape, just need a cleaning. The case opens and closes tightly, exterior in fair condition.
$14, unless that's out of line. Would be open to trade for a fat handle Junior to replace my broken one.

Shaved with my Model C yesterday.. nice shaving razor..that is a good price also. Some one pick this on up will not be disappointed.

Fuzzy I noticed you used a Feather blade in yours. How does the blade come off? What types of blades work in these razors?

Nice offer HT. I am well set up with Valets myself - but if anybody is thinking about this I must say that I was the very lucky recipient of one of Hoosier Troopers generous razor offers and picked up a wonderful Wester razor. (I am really struggling with it too - I can't decide whether it is simply the best razor I have or not! I think actually that for me, it is!) A very honest guy who is a boon to the wetshave community.

HT - the feather blades the Fuzzmiester refers to are the spineless feather single edge blades with cutouts (see below). These are very sharp very good quality blades. These blades, because of the cutouts, will fit into any Valet razors.

You're way too kind R-Man. I owe you guys and others a lot more in the knowledge you've shared than I can ever pay back with a few razors. I'm just in the fortunate position of having access to a lot of vintage razors, and if I can get them to the people who'll use and appreciate them at what I can buy them for and a couple dollars to cover shipping it's worth it to me.

I have some superb adjustables lined up for sale hopefully this week over at B&B once I get them cleaned up. It was quite a windfall.

Yup those are the blades there that tha Rocket man pointed out. They are great but typical of Feathers for me. Seem to get dull quicker then some of the others. The up side is that there is no modification needed for them to work in the VAS.

OK, thanks. If anyone would be interested in a trade I would swap this for a fat handle GEM Jr. I really liked mine, and it didn't appear to have ever been used when I got it a few months ago, but it broke when I dropped it this morning.
