Has anyone obtained Ted Pella blades in the UK? They appear to be available from Agar Scientific although I have not yet enquired about price; you appear to have to submit your request to the company who get back with a quote.

Having the company come back with a quote sounds interesting! They must be hoping you are going to supply a few counties with research blades or something!! I guess if you ask for a quote on like, ten, they might just up the shipping a tad!
It would be interesting to hear what the price would be on a block of 100. Are they the same blades as at TP??

Actually I get rather confused about these blades, types and relationship with Gem etc. The website is www.agarscientific.com/ for scrutiny of the blades on offer.

Hmmmm. The ones in the photo are definitely not the same. Importantly, they don't have side notches below the spine. These would not work in many of the razors as a result. I am not sure, but I would stay away from these ones.

Thanks, I'll steer clear. Meanwhile I am reminded that Connaught Shaving sell the Gem SS, coated blades so this is the best option.

They come in a standard ASR box, with plastic tray and are cardboard wrapped. Surprisingly,I have found them to be sharper than the Stainless Personna's by quite a margin.

They look to be the same as Pella is selling. And I agree, they are the sharpest blades around.
