Looks like a primitive instrument to me compared to Gem's and Ever Ready's of that era. ;)Probably why it was never released. Not sexy at all. ;D

I like that ball end on the handle though. They must have thought making the different blades would be too much trouble or something.

I imagine that without some sort of head or blade guard (a la 1912), I imagine it would have been rather difficult to get consistent shaves easily - which at that time was the goal. There weren't knuckleheads like us around wanting to slow down and "savor the shave"....the name of the game was quick, easy, and effortless....
