bullyboy ( ) n. An aggressive or pugnacious fellow; a tough. A hired thug; a goon
Old Cowboy Teddy a thug eh? Well he did suggest carting a large stick around for solving problems. I wonder if he shaved with the new Gillette, a Star, or a straight while president?
bully boy - I hadn't heard the term - but I like it!! I know a few 'pugnacious' prix myself.

"Roosevelt famously used the word bully as an adjective meaning "superb" or "wonderful" (a more common expression in his time than it is today); the term has no relationship to the noun bully, i.e. a harasser or someone who intimidates." Fuzzy Oops, Didn't mean for "bully boy" to be taken as "bullyboy". Maybe I should have said something else. Ah well. Yes, "Bully!" is a term linked close to Roosevelt, and crazy men who think they are the President

Thanx for the explanation!! I didn't know what that wascawwy wabbit was saying half the time!! (This takes care of a quarter of it at any rate ) And besides, a side effect is that I have learned a new term for the wankers I know out here, so it is all good! One cool thing about this razor hobby, it it always teaches me lots about history. I have just been reading about old Teddy and even have learned a few things - go figure! All in all, a Bully day!! ;D
