I think there is also one that is branded as a Treet. I really want one of those. Fuzzy OK a quick search of the Bay and I found a Treet... BIN 7.50 with 3.00 shipping. It will be on the way Monday heh. Looks like it will need some cleaning but should he just fine. Fuzzy

I like the look of these big handles I might pick one up to see how it's weight feels in person nice find Fuzz.
Q: Anyone know if the threads on these handles will fit a lather catcher head?

The Fat handle will not fit on a lather catcher. Why, oh why, would you want to do that anyway? To customize something that God has made as the perfect SE razor and you want to mess with it buy putting on it the ugliest handle ever made. Geesh!

Ah my first moderator annoyance of the new year @^_^@ Bryce you are absolutely correct in the fact that the LC's are some of the best shavers ever as well as the fact the big handle would look hideous on a LC. Why do I want to do it then? Simple I like heft to my razors and one of these fat handles would be a cheap solution to find out if the weight worked well with a LC before I put time or money into either finding one of the vintage wooden handles or had a solid metal handle made for me

Simple I like heft to my razors and one of these fat handles would be a cheap solution to find out if the weight worked well with a LC before I put time or money into either finding one of the vintage wooden handles or had a solid metal handle made for me I can appreciate you desire to add more heft to the LC. At first I thought they would be hard to shave with especially after using some of the old open comb 3 piece razors from Gillette and a Merkur HD. But I have learned to adapt to the lighter weight of the LC and even the '12 GEMS. I know for sure that the fat handle being plastic does add some heft but not as much as you might think. Your best bet would most likely be to get a custom metal handle made. You may have trouble getting the right threads though. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. And let us know and see how it comes out.

Thank you sir Possum, I love how the LC shaves regardless of weight but as you said I am more used to heavy razors and just want to see how it handles with a heavy handle. Who knows I might hate it and curse myself for ever venturing towards such an endeavor won't know until I try. Now that you mention it the plastic handle does look more hollow than when I first looked at it. In your opinion how much does one of these plastic handles weigh? I know most people don't have a gram scale handy so maybe compare it to another razor handle. And yes if I do decide to have a custom handle made I will of course show it off If you would like try one of the baton handle 1912's shoot me an addy in a PM. I may not be a bunny but you sir deserve a BULLY!

I got a great shave from the Treet tonight with 2 days growth. I changed the blade from the Treet to a Gem Blue Star and it worked great. i will try another treet to see if I just had a bad one it does happen.
As someone stated already the razor has a safty bar instead of the closed comb of the 1912's. I like it just fine.. It clears the forest of growth I had and dressed up around my goatee just fine also.
All in all a great shave. I can not tell any difference from the baton handle 1912 as far as the feel of the handle goes.
