So far, I've tried two variants of Bay Rum AS. Liked them both. First up was Dominica Bay Rum, nice glass bottle, must be a favorite because it's a little past half gone (most used quantity of any AS I've gotten). Next is Pinaud's Virgin Island Bay Rum. Quite different than the Dominica, but I like it too.
I've read that Bay Rum needs to be shaken before application, to mix what may have separated in the bottle. Best longevity there, still I find it does not last all that long (maybe I should pick up some Bay Rum Cologne!).
What types have you tried, which do you like, and what has been your experience with it?

I have tried Royall Bay Rhum and Ogallala Bay Rum. At first I thought the Royall Bay Rhum was medicinal smelling but it has grown on me and I like it a lot. I actually like both the Ogallala and the Royall Bay Rhum although the scents are quite different.

I just ordered Captain Smith's Caribbean Bay Rum, not sure what it'll smell like... It will be interesting to see what you think. I still only use the Virgin Island Bay Rum. To me it is better then the Masters. Fuzzy

I've tried Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum, Dominica Bay Rum, and Walgreen's house brand (years ago; no longer available). Of those, the Virgin Island Bay Rum is my favorite by far. __________ Jeff
