The Fusion add was put there only to try to confuse us. Since it looks just a little bit like what would be a 21st century SE razor they thought we might buy into using one.
But we are too smart for them. We see the ad, and simply laugh at their foolishness of thinking we might fall for something like that.

Where are you guys seeing ads on this site? I am bookmarked to go straight to the Forums so maybe I miss them. Or maybe my ad blocker is actually working in Linux. Who knows. It is just great not having to put up that crap anyway.

Looks like the Ubuntu Linux takes care of unwanted ads on this site. I still see none.

XP not good but not as bad as the one that replaced it. I just wanted to get away from windows and all the problems that are common with it. So got advice from my son in law the computer whiz. He works with Unix and Linux each day and swears by it.
I have it on my main desktop and my netbook. Still need an XP computer though because of my work. The company that I deal with on an everyday basis is totally dedicated to windows. Although they are working due my constant harassment on making their system more compatible with Firefox.
When I retire in a about 5 years I will trash the windows machine and become a Linux only household. That is if I can get my wife to let go the windows machne. Oh, well if she won't then it becomes her problem when it screws up.
Finally, Linux is a bit different in use but when you figure it out the system is amazing. I am learning more each day about it. Funny thing, most of the learning comes from guys on forums like this who offer to help new Linux users.
Now that I have given you the sales pitch for Linux I must confess that I am using an ad blocking add on for Firefox. It is Ad Block Plus for those FF users out there. Works really well.

I have firefox and they're there. They're just not big or flashy with any pictures. It's a plain box that says Mach3 or some stuff like that you can click. Between the box that says "The Original Safety" and the forums.

Thank you Kevin. That ad blocker works great. No more crap ads on Yahoo mail or facebook now. The ones here weren't bad, but those sites were awful. Thanks again!
