WOW two days growth and it was mowed down flat. What a great shave. The blade is on day 4. Still going strong though. OUTSTANDING razor.

I think we need a new thread but wasn't sure if I should start it or if an admin needed to. Oh well, here we go... Monday, July 25, 2011- Prep: TSD ISZ PreShave Balm, hot shower, hand strop & cork blade
- Cream: C.O. Bigelow + Glycerine (4 drops)
- Brush: Frank Shaving Fine Badger
- Razor: Gem Junior 1912
- Blade: Walgreen's Gem (1), 4 passes - trying a new routine
- Post: CWR, Wally World Witch Hazel, Aqua-Velva Ice Blue, hand strop blade
What a great shave this morning with the Jr. Gets just as close as the Clog Pruf with less irritation. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll be getting an even better shave. It definitely requires a different angle than the Clog Pruf so I'm excited to see what tomorrow brings. Hopefully I'll have a picture tomorrow as well.

Today's shave was very close but a bit rough. There were no weepers, just some irritation. Tomorrow I'll switch over to the FW for the remainder of this blade's life. ______________ Jeff

Sorry for the delay in starting this thread for the week. Just back from vacation and I am kinda mixed up. I did move the posts for this week which were posted in last week's thread to here.
I ask that if you come here on Monday to post your SOD and do not find a new thread already started that you go ahead and start it for the week. Just be sure to get the dates correct!
Thanks and happy shaving.

- Prep: Noxzema Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
- Cream: TOBS St. James Collection
- Brush: Knotty Roddy Refurb with TGN Grade A Silvertip Badger Knot
- Razor: '73 Stick Schick Injector
- Blade: Ted Pella PTFE coated injector (shave 6)
- Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
- A/S: Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner
- EDT: Nine Flags Live Oak from Germany
- Result: A fine BBS shave. First time for the TOBS St James Collection cream and it did not disappoint me a bit. Has mild lime scent to it. Also easy to lather and the lather is some of the best that I have ever had. Plenty of cushion and glide.
