Happy Monday there Bryce! Razor: Rolls Razor 2 Cream: Palmolive Deluxe Brush: Omega 21047 Shake 3x. Half almond. 1min14. Rework 1. 2 pass Dried within couple minutes. Barely 2 pass. Pasty within 2 minutes of application. Reworked and on 2nd pass it nearly disintegrated due to lack of cream. Normally use good dollop-sized portion but not in past few days. Nevertheless, 21047 is most exfoliating as ever. Not the least bit scratchy. This wedge is unyielding. I'm curious how this will fare once it reaches shave #90. Unlike conventional straight this will barely cut if at all sans lather.

Razor: Rolls Razor #78 Cream: C.O.Bigelow Brush: 7610 ASB: C.O.Bigelow Red 1703 Cologne: C.O.Bigelow Red 1584 Squeeze 2x. 34 sec. 1min14. Rework 1-2. 3 pass. Menthol kicked in couple minutes. Dried as expected no difference from the rest. Barely a 3 pass. Funk nearly non-existent if anything it was minute. Light scrub. Decent flex. I underestimated this. Should have 1 more squeeze as it held useless water the moment I worked tufts. This yield max of 3 tsp water. Found myself lathering with quickness so it doesn't look like I just got a facial from Nat Turner. Shed 7x.

1912 Gem Gem Stainless Blade (1) Vulfix # 5 Boar Brush C.O. Bigelow Cream English Leather AS English Leather Cologne
Very close shave with the 1912 paired with the Gem blade. The cream still reminds me of Noxzema.

Razor: Rolls Razor 2 Cream: C.O.Bigelow Brush: 7610 ASB: C.O.Bigelow Green 1702 Cologne: C.O. Bigelow Green 1582 Squeeze 3x. 35sec. 1min 35. Rework 2. 4 pass. Thick. Shed 4x. Total 11. At shave #79 this wedge is indeed a beast. No discomfort or tugging whatsoever. Brush was much better than yesterday. Soaked for good minute. Shed 4x during first pass. Had rework 2nd pass it dried out. Retains its shape fairly well. Lather was nice and thick. Menthol kicked in 2 minutes lasting throughout duration of shave. 1582 is one of my favourite colognes of all time if I'd to choose between those I have. Nice woodsy musk feel.

Razor: Rolls Razor Cream: C.O.Bigelow Brush: 7610 ASB: C.O.Bigelow Black 1701 Cologne: C.O.Bigelow Black 1581 Squeeze 3x. 34sec. 1min18. 3 pass. Rework 1. Thick Shed 3x. Total 14. I drew speck of blood with wedge. It's been long while since I last drew blood. Good shave nonetheless. First pass shed 3x. Lather dried within minute or so. Reworked lather. Menthol kicked in 2 minutes and lasted throughout shave as usual. Topped it off with tones of vanilla musk. Though premature at this stage brush isn't scrubby as Vie-Long 16728. At least I didn't notice it.

Bryce,
How would you compare Cyril Salter to other creams? I've tried TOBS, TF&H and Progress Vulfix. The latter is one I've actual tub of. Samples of former are not that bad at all. They generate lather pretty quickly, cushioning ok but lacking in moisturising department.
Do you by chance have Edwin Jagger if so what scent do you fancy most?

Razor: Rolls Razor 2 Cream: Ginger's Garden Bayrum Lime Brush: 7610 AS: AII Osage Squeeze 3x. 35sec. 2min 25. Rework 1-2. 3 pass. Shed 2x. Total 16 Shed 1st and 2nd pass. Got pasty and reworked 1st. Dry 2nd pass. Funk nearly gone after first shave with C.O.Bigelow. Gone on second use. Tuft tips are soft. Not even light scrub. Perhaps it's the cushion of Bayrum Lime. Happy Friday Gents!

Saturday Night, 7:00 PM evening shave
1912 Gem CVS Stainless Blade Omega 49 Boar Brush Proraso Cream Stephans Bay Rum AS
I think the Gem Blades I buy at Walgreens are a little smoother than the CVS. Probably the same blade, just branded different so it could be my imagination.
The 1912 is probably the best performing razor I have ( I don't have many SEs yet) but tomorrow morning as most every Sunday I'll have my usual "Possum Shave" with my favorite razor. Micromatic Opencomb!

Razor: Rolls Razor 2 F40/4 #2 Brush: Omega 50014 Cream: ASB: Eternity Shake 3x. 34 sec. 1min34. 4min35. Rework 1-2. 3 Pass. Shed 2x. Total 2 This was early shave this morning got up at 0600 thereabouts and shaved around 1000. Helped my buddy moved this past couple days and what better way than to give the 50014 travel another go. Never leave home without it. Showed him last night how to operate the Rolls and gave him a couple soaps. I forgot about bowl so we went ahead to CVS and picked up the re-packaged VDH. Omega 50014 is a great brush. You really have to try and suck at lathering. I don't know why Boar still has stigma of poor lathering brush. In all honesty if you think that is you should quit shaving. I'm not a master of Boars nor do I claim to be but it's been 8 months since I last used this brush and yet produced a thick lather within minute and half. However, it was reduced to paste in first 2 passes due to room temperature within seconds but no different from any brush I've used prior. Took two times as long to finish face due to dense texture of cream and kept falling off the bristle. Which also happens with other brushes when it comes to harder textured cream.
